Our Clergy

Fr. Dominic Clovis IVE

Dear Parishioners,

Our Bishop, His Excellency, the Most Reverend Daniel Miehm, has appointed me as your new pastor beginning in July 2025. By God’s grace, I am called to accompany you on your journey toward our heavenly home, where we hope to dwell for all eternity with the Holy Trinity, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all the Angels and Saints.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Fr. Dominic Clovis. I was born on September 1, 1989, in the city of London, UK. At the age of 19, God called me to follow Him in religious life, and I joined the religious family of the Incarnate Word, entering the seminary in Italy in 2009. After completing my formation—which included one year of novitiate, three years of philosophy, and four years of theology—I was ordained a priest in 2017.

Following my ordination, I was sent to Scotland, to the Kingdom of Fife, where I served as a curate in four parishes for two years. I was then assigned to Canada to serve as an associate pastor (or “curate,” as we say in the UK) at St. Augustine of Canterbury Parish in Toronto for three years.

Now, at the bidding of my Superiors, I have come to serve you—for however long God wills. As you can see, I am still a young priest, and I humbly ask for your patience as I grow in this new role. I look forward to serving you and pray that together we may follow Our Lord closely in faith, hope, and charity.

As Christ has told us, “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6), and as St. Peter declared, “There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Let us stay close to our Redeemer and always seek His mercy.

In Christ,
Fr. Dominic Clovis IVE
